Terms of Service

Last updated: February 2026

1. What Clhub is

Clhub provides a shared identity and account platform for clubs, community organisations, and activity hubs (“Hubs”). When you create a Clhub account you get a single login that works across every Hub you join — similar to how a Google account lets you sign in to many services.

Clhub is the identity layer. Each Hub sets its own membership terms, fees, and policies. By joining a Hub you also agree to that Hub's terms (if any).

2. Your Clhub account

Your Clhub account stores the minimum profile information needed to authenticate you and support membership operations: your name, email address, date of birth, gender, phone number, and postal address fields. This data is controlled by Clhub.

For MVP1, Clhub does not collect or process GDPR special category data in account profile flows.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for the accuracy of the information you provide.

3. Hub profiles & membership

When you join a Hub, a hub profile is created for you within that Hub. Hub profile data — including membership details, bookings, participation records, and any hub-specific consents — is controlled by the Hub's organisation, not by Clhub. Clhub acts as a data processor on behalf of the Hub.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use Clhub lawfully and not to misuse the platform. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used for illegal purposes.

5. Minors

Users under 16 may have a Clhub account only under the supervision of a guardian. A guardian must have their own Clhub account and accept these terms on the minor's behalf. The guardian retains oversight and control of the minor's account.

6. Intellectual property

Content you upload to your account or Hub profiles remains yours. By uploading content you grant Clhub and the relevant Hub a limited licence to display and process it as needed to provide the service.

7. Account deletion

You may request deletion of your Clhub account at any time. Deletion removes your account data and disassociates you from all Hubs. Hub organisations may retain anonymised records as required by law or their own data-retention policies.

8. Limitation of liability

Clhub is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, Clhub is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use of Clhub after changes constitutes acceptance.
